چکیده
Abstract The good mechanical and chemical stability of textile acrylic fibers waste has promoted its candidacy for fabricating low cost membranes wastewater treatment. In this work, nanofiltration based on the were successfully prepared using phase inversion technique. First, membrane solutions with different concentrations (16, 18, 20, 22%) (AF) in dimethyl formamide (DMF) prepared. Evaluation performance terms water flux dyes (Congo red methylene blue) rejection was investigated. Nanofiltration obtained at 20% polymer concentration. This modified by adding ratios (3, 5, 10 wt%) polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) to enhance performance. Characterization explored attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), contact angle, swelling properties. results show that addition 5% PVP elevated a high equal 320 L/m 2 /h complete removal Congo 90% blue pressure (3 bar). molecular weight cutoff produced found be 319.85 Dalton. Moreover, effect dye concentration applied studied. entire work presented an optimization procedure obtaining standalone materials (textile fiber waste).

The feasibility of employing nanofiltration (NF) in the decolorization of ionic (direct blue 86) and nonionic (disperse blue 56) dye aqueous solutions was investigated. The effects of feed concentration (60- 180 mg/l), pressure (0.5- 1.1 MPa) and pH (6- 10) were studied. Experiments were performed in a laboratory- scale set up by using a TFC commercial spiral wound polyamide nanofilter. The res...

متن کاملWash Fastness of Textile Fibers Dyed with Natural Dye from Eucalyptus Wood Steaming Waste
Natural dyes are gaining interest due their expected low risk to human health and to the environment. In this study, the wash fastness of a natural coloring matter from the liquid waste produced in the steam treatment of eucalyptus wood in textile fabrics was investigated. Specifically, eucalyptus wood extract was used to dye cotton, nylon and wool in an exhaust dyeing process without the addit...
